Get the most out of YOUR woodlots and forested areas!

Join the Agroforestry and Woodlot Society in conjunction with the Municipal District of Lesser Slave River at the Flatbush Community Complex on Monday June 17th, 2019 for a day of woodlot management benefits and techniques.

At this workshop private landowners will learn:

  • Best management practices on forested private lands
  • How forested lands contribute economically and environmentally
  • Management to maximize ecological and economic value
  • Maintenance & restoration leads to healthier woodlots

Plus: Outdoor Field Visits in the afternoon:

  • Private forested lands owned by Vanderwell Contractors Ltd.
  • Alberta Conservation Association Lands near Flatbush
