Wildflowers & Pollinators Project
Support AWES in building environmental education capacity in rural Alberta Schools by supporting our Native Wildflowers & Pollinators Project.
This project supports 900 youth through workshops delivered through the creation of 9 living labs in the form of native pollinator gardens right in their local community or school ground. Each participant will have the opportunity to learn from hands-on activities focused on the importance of wildflowers and native pollinators. The aim of this project is to strengthen school capacity and knowledge in environmental education and an opportunity for students to gather and engage with their green infrastructure for years to come.
Funding: in progress
