Meet Teresa

Teresa is a fresh graduate from the Forest Technology program at N.A.I.T. and joins AWES for the summer planting season of 2024. She greatly enjoys examining interactions across ecosystems, as well as reclamation work and understanding forest health concerns. Teresa also has a background in culinary arts as a chef, utilizing locally grown produce. Combining passions for both cooking and gardening, Teresa has knowledge in food production through previous work experience on farms and greenhouses. She grows everything from house plants to vegetable gardens and trees. In her free time, Teresa enjoys backwoods hiking, camping, and canoe trips.
