Join MARA and Mackenzie County for the Integrated Weed and Pest Management of Field Crops and Eco-buffers/Alley Cropping Agroforestry Systems workshop held at the Fort Vermillion Community Complex January 15, 2020 from 8:45-3:30pm.

Dr. Breanne Tidemann, and Dr. Kelly Turrington of Agriculture and Agri-food Canada (AAFC) and Noel St. Jean of the Agroforestry and  Woodlot Extension Society (AWES) will be speaking on topics including:

  • Integrated weed Management, Herbicide Resistance and Harvest Weed Seed Control
  • Integrated Cereal Disease Management
  • Integrated Crop and Pest Management for canola
  • Shelterbelt/Eco-buffer Establishment and Alley Cropping
  • Agroforestry Systems for Sustainable Agriculture
