This talk will be led by Mya our Environmental Program Coordinator at AWES. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences, recently graduating from the University of Alberta. Mya is a Biologist in Training with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists. She has previous experience as an agriculture research assistant working with a variety of pulse crops. Mya also spent time on Vancouver Island studying marine biology during her university career. She has a passion for conservation biology, specifically relating to climate change and the influence of human activity.
