Meet Mya

Mya is our Environmental Program Coordinator at AWES. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences, recently graduating from the University of Alberta. Mya is a Biologist-in-Training with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists. She has previous experience as an Agriculture Research Assistant working with a variety of pulse crops. She has a passion for Conservation Biology, specifically relating to Climate Change and the influence of human activity. In her spare time, Mya enjoys volleyball, cooking, traveling and all things outdoors
