Volunteer with the Battle River Watershed Alliance, Camrose Environmental Sustainability Advisory Committee, and Agroforestry Woodlot Extension Society (AWES) to plant trees by Stoney Creek.
With support from the City of Camrose, this planting is part of a BRWA project to assess and improve the health of our urban riparian areas. Riparian areas offer important habitat for many species, opportunities for recreation, and play a crucial in improving water quality, and reducing the impacts of flood and drought.
Time: 1:00-3:30 PM
Location: Four Seasons Rotary Park
Meet at the parking lot on 50th Street, south of Augustana
Refreshments and planting shovels provided.
