Meet Heather

Heather joined the AWES team in summer 2021 to take the lead on development of policy, operations process, data management and lean process improvements. Her extensive background in grants management, change management, and process structure have dramatically improved operations and financial record keeping.

Complementing Heather’s keen business acumen is her drive for continual improvement and organization. Currently, Heather is pulling together economic data to share the local value of community level ecosystem restoration through this different lens.

Heather’s background includes working with the Government of Alberta in Grants Management, Financial administration and Event Management.
