DESCRIPTION:Eco-Buffers are diverse\, high-density shelterbelts that look and act like natural forest! Join the Agroforestry and Woodlot Extension Society\, Parkland County\, and Lac Ste. Anne County for a hands-on workshop. \n\nWhen: Monday\, June 4th 10am – 3pm (doors open at 9:30am)\nWhere: Rosenthal Hall\, Parkland County\, AB T0E 0H0\nWho should attend:  Ag producers and rural property owners looking to manage their land.\n\nWe’ll start with a presentation on the benefits of Eco-Buffers and how to design one. We’ll then travel to a nearby site and plant an Eco-Buffer! \nFree! Bag lunch and refreshments provided. Participants should dress for the outdoors and bring their own spade/shovel. \nSpace is limited! Registration required by Thursday\, May 31st.
