SUMMARY:Riparian Restoration Webinar
DESCRIPTION:After a successful workshop in Didsbury\, this past May\, we’re excited to keep the momentum going and provide tools for riparian restoration.\n\n\n\nRiparian areas—where land meets water—are some of the most vibrant parts of the landscape. These zones thrive because nearby water supports a rich mix of trees\, shrubs\, and wildlife. But when vegetation is lost\, waterways can deteriorate\, dry out\, and become difficult to restore. That’s where we can help. \nJoin us on December 10\, 2025\, at 7:00 p.m. for a webinar led by our Agroforestry Specialist\, Winston Gamache. He will walk through a range of planting strategies for riparian and wetland restoration\, with a focus on erosion control and live staking. The session will conclude with an overview of potential funding opportunities for these types of projects\, followed by a Q&A period to explore your riparian planting questions in more depth.
