SUMMARY:Building Better Habitats: Eco-Buffers and Wildlife
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a free online webinar focused on ecobuffers and how to succeed planting them. We will also be covering funding available for these types of planting projects. \nThis talk will be led by Mya our Environmental Program Coordinator at AWES. She holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Biological Sciences\, recently graduating from the University of Alberta. Mya is a Biologist in Training with the Alberta Society of Professional Biologists. She has previous experience as an agriculture research assistant working with a variety of pulse crops. Mya also spent time on Vancouver Island studying marine biology during her university career. She has a passion for conservation biology\, specifically relating to climate change and the influence of human activity. \nEventbrite Link below
